Belated Larry David Moment for 9.16.06
Setting- Bat Mitzvah
*all of this is in a whisper during a service*
DH: are you bored yet?
ME: Just a lil. I'm going to have a ciggarette.
DH: wait a second
ME: what?
DH: did I mention the parents of the bat mitzvah girl are getting a ghet *jewish divorce* on Monday?
ME: *starts laughing...bites toungue...laughs uncontrollably as DH is pushing me out of the synagogue*
Only on Long Island kids....Only on Long Island!!
Sooo I go out for a ciggarette at the party and the rabbi gives me a lecture about how its going to kill me!
Rabbi: You are going to die young
ME: Maybe I want to kill myself
Rabbi: I will pray for you
ME: Don't threaten me!
