Bella's Pre-K started today
...it's still her daycare, but they run it completely like a pre-k. I got her packet today and I have to buy her school supplies and she will have "homework" on Fridays!
It's still very similar to what she has been in since she was 4 years old, but I am a mess today for some reason.
She was home with me for the month of August and we travelled a bunch and went to the beach a lot (I am usually a FT working mom, so that is not the usual at all) We had a blast, but I know she was DYING to see her friends...
When the heck did they start getting so big

She adores school and her friends...but we have become a bit attached. She was fine seeing me go. Me, not so much.
Like I said, nothing really changed from before other than her being one year older

Awww, this would make me sad too, but it's good she had an easy adjustment.
I can't believe they have homework already! But that shouldn't surprise me, I remember helping Kindergartners find biographies of famous people for book reports! Not an easy task--there aren't many written at their level.
