Belly button popping???

I am only 16w2d and a few days ago it appeared my belly button was popping out (in the position I was sitting). Once I got up it went back in.
I mentioned this to coworkers (whi have had children) and they said it is not suppossed to pop out this early and I may have a hernia!?
My next dr. appt. in't until Dec. 28th so I figured I would ask here first. Did anyones belly button pop out this early or should I be worried about a hernia?

I have noticed since probably the start of the 2nd trimester that my belly button is getting more and more shallow. Mine isn't popping yet but I have a deep belly button and it probably would have popped by now if it was shallower. I wouldn't be concerned because I would think that everyone's BB pops at different rates (or not at all). And, doesn't hernia hurt?

I have no idea about the hernia thing.... I too think that it hurts when you are having bouts of it.

I'm in my third tri, and mine still has yet to pop..... did anyone else have this?

Mine popped early on - by 20 weeks or so. No hernia here!

My belly button seems to be pulling on the top and looks like it wants to come out. It did not until the very end with DD #1, I don't know if it is because it is #2 or what?

Mine poped rather early. This is my second pregnancy at this point. Everything happens quicker the second/third time around. you know. However, my belly button area is extremely sore and it's painful making me think I have a hernia of some sort. I see my High Risk dr. Tuesday so I'll find out more.
