belly buttons in the office?
Is there something that could flatten a belly button? I could swear I saw something like it in Mimi a few months ago. Does anyone have one? Do they work?
Is it inapproriate to see your belly button through a shirt? I wear t shirts with sweater over them to work and now my belly button is protruding and I hate wearing baggy clothes constantly. Is this gross to those who aren't preggo? Should I try to hide it?

Re: belly buttons in the office?
My belly button has been sticking out for months... is it inappropriate? I have to say absolutely NOT - it's a natural change that has occured to my BODY. It's not like you dyed your hair purple or pierced your face.
If it bothers you, you can put a bandaid over it to keep it flat... I know someone who did that because she was skeeved by it. I just let mine stick out in all it's outie glory.

I put a bandaide over mine when I went to work. I had a co worker poke it - That was enough for me.

I don't think its inappropriate or gross, but if you are uncomfortable, you could try a bandaid---the things you are talking about are called 'popper stoppers'--I don't have any experience with these, but I remember seeing them as well!

I don't think it's in appropriate or gross for I have one sticking out for a long while now Many call it my third nipple and I can care less at times.... Some told me I can use a bandaid I don't plan on it though.

Re: belly buttons in the office?
I dount wearing a tight tank top under clothing really helped to conceal it. but, if it showed it showed. there was nothing i could do about it so i just tried not to be too self conscious. whenever i brought it up to people they told me they didnt even notice it until i pointed it out!

Re: belly buttons in the office?
As long as you are not wearing a half shirt to expose it-I can't see how it would be inappropriate. You can't help it!

Re: belly buttons in the office?
I have a raised mole right above my belly button. The bigger my belly gets the more the mole sticks out-- like having a second belly button (chandler's third nipple), except much smaller. Today I am wearing a shirt that is more shear and if my pants are not pulled up to old man status it shows- it is what it is IMO. I have it, this is me, this is my body, don't look at it if it sceeves you.
If your belly button popped be proud of your perdue popper. You shouldn't have to hide it because you are at work.
What is more of an issue is why do people feel that because you are prengnat that they can touch you without asking you, like poking someones belly button.

Re: belly buttons in the office?
I was uncomfortable with mine (at one point my son asked if that was the baby's nose )
I would wear long scarves. It makes it less noticeable.
