belly rash/bumps at 16 weeks?
I am going to the dr next week and I don't think its an emergency so I really don't want to call....
A couple weeks ago I got a really red and dry spot, then a week later another. It's not too itchy, only occasionally. They have not gone away. This morning there were like 4 more of them. They are not really bothering me much... but you can definitely see them on my belly. They are all on the right side too. It is much too early for PUPPS, as that only starts close to 35 weeks.....
anyone ever have this? should I be concerned?

Are you wearing maternity pants? Maybe it's a reaction to that? Could be heat rash, too.
As long as it's not spreading I probably wouldn't be concerned, but that's just me.

Re: belly rash/bumps at 16 weeks?
i got PUPPPS at 21 weeks! mine were very typical of PUPPPS...i got them first on my stretch marks and it was extremely itchy. Then it spread to my arms, thighs and butt! I went to a derm and my OB both to make sure it was puppps and not something else.
your symptoms dont sound like pupps...i would just wait until your appt next week and see what the dr says.

Do the red spots have a white ring around them? Are they in a Christmas tree shape around your belly with more at the bottom and kinda upwards in a triangle? Oval shaped and get bigger and slightly scaly? I had that at the beginning of my pregnancy and went to my dermatologist about it. It went away in about 4 weeks. I can tell you more if it sounds like that but don't google because I scared the crud out of myself googling for no reason.

I will have to get in front of a mirror and examine them more closely! I'll let you know... don't really want to lift up my shirt in my office thank you!

LOL I can understand that.
Mine started with one itchy spot just under one breast and then I noticed a few more on my belly, then they kinda spread out and were all over my chest, belly, and even on my thighs.
If you want, PM me later since I'll be out for a little bit and may not check the forum. But the bottom line is that what I had was viral and had to do with a weakened immune system from being pregnant but did not at all effect the baby or anything! So as annoying as it was, it went away and that was all.
