Belly Sleeper!
Bella flipped herself over to her Belly last night for the first time. DH turned her back over at 5 am when we discovered it...but when I woke up at 6 am she had flipped herself back over again!
I kept checking her every 20 minutes from then and she was fine...snoring away! She actually slept until 7:45 instead of 6:15!!! And she only woke up when she caught me checking her again!
My thing is she HAS to sleep with a blanket, she likes is gently brushing her cheek when she falls asleep (I lower it when she is out cold)
Is it OK for her to be sleeping on the belly with a blanket in the crib, or am I just being overly paranoid to think it's not?? 1/2 of me says get over it and the other half of me worries...

Re: Belly Sleeper!
I let him sleep with the blanket but I also have the angelcare on. Otherwise i kind of tuck the blanket around his waist.

Re: Belly Sleeper!
Is the blanket 100% cotton? If so - don't worry - it's a breathable fabric.
Also, once babies can flip themselves on their stomach - then it's really ok since they have the ability to move or flip back over at that point. Back sleeping is really only necessary for small babies that can't move.

I agree. You could also cut the blanket very small if you're really worried about it. I'd say she's fine.
