benadryl and zarbees cough syrup and mucus reducer
I gave DS the zarbees cough syrup and mucus reducer around 7:30 but he's still coughing (and wide awake....ugh). Can I give him benadryl or do I need to wait? The benadryl has been working to help his cough.

I give them together all the time. zarbees is drug free.

You can give together. I give benadryl at night whenever kids have cold as per my ped

Is there a maximum # of days you give benadryl? I hate giving meds so I'm always afraid I'm giving it too much.

My son can be on it for a few weeks at a time. Usually just a dose before bed, but if he is really bad I give him a dose during the day. This is on top of his Claritin
