Oh Mad...I love that you automatically knew that was one of the choices. I hope you always think of yourself as beautiful.
and my answer was Athena. Goddess of Wisdom. She was hoping for Hermes, God of Mischief (among other things).
I love the Lightning Thief series & the new book, Lost Hero!

Robbie loves asking that question too! I think they really are made for each other!!! He is convinced that he'd be son of Zeus or Apollo. We are finishing up The Last Olympian and he's massively disappointed that Percy isn't the hero of the new series.
To show how DIFFERENT they are.. Noah wants to be a baby Cyclops.
By the way - those books are a GREAT intro to Hesiod's Theogeny! Robbie and I had gone into it before.. but his interest peaked after Percy Jackson and it was sooo much easier to re-read and 'get'. In case you are interested.

By the way - those books are a GREAT intro to Hesiod's Theogeny! .
Thanks for the suggestion.
We read D'Aulaire's before we knew about the Lightning Thief series, which has the Greek & Roman names so it's been great for this new book>

This looks AWESOME. We tried doing Edith Hamilton's book on Mythology (one of my favorites) - but it was a total snooze for my guys. This looks far more engaging!!
