Best bag to use on a cruise

Looking for a bag to use on the cruise, and also at the ports. Any suggestions. There are 6 of us, so I'm thinking I need a pretty big one!

I have a HUGE Vera Bradley bag. I don't recall the name, but I bought it in the store recently. It's a tote with a bunch of pockets inside, and I think my child could fit in it also lol

For the ports I used a backpack for hands free carrying and so I could take pictures.
I really did not want to schlep a lot of stuff around.
For days at sea, I used a zippered tote bag big enough to hold our sunscreen, reading material, eye and sunglasses, extra coverup and baseball caps.
For evenings a wristlet.

I found a waterproof backpack that worked out well... but there were only 2 of us. I liked it b/c it kept things dry inside.

I would use a le sport sac or back pack. I like the le sport sac for the compartments and it's easy to wipe clean.

i use either the lanyard or a vera bradley shoot from the hip for day to day around the ship. on excursions i use either a backpack or a beach bag, depending on where we are going. i am a mom of 2 young girls, btw.

I use a kyss bag on all of our travels.

I would use a lightweight backpack that has hidden zippers for no outside access. The zipper is hidden on the side that faces your back.
