Best Boots for Plus-Size Calfs?
I'm a curvy girl and that translates to my calves.  What kind of boots should I be looking for? I never bought a pair but I wanted some below the knee ones in a brown color!

I have big calves and I just bought a pair of Madden Girl brand that actually fit. I was shocked.

They don't fit me at all! I have short legs so I think that's my major problem. The widest point of my calves is lower than the widest point of the boot. All I can wear are ankle boots.

Search wide or extended calf on places like zappos, dsw, shoebuy etc. I have a pair of Frye extended calf that just fit.

I just measured, mine are a comfortable 16 (I didn't tighten the tape measure)
I bought these from Macys yesterday:
I was skeptical when I tried them on because they are a 15" circumference but they looked great.
They are having a pre-sale and these were 25% off if you buy now and pick up after 9/18.
Alfani boots
I also tried on these which fit even though the circumference is less than the first ones, because they sit a little lower. (I was looking for something dressier so I didn't get these)
Guess boots
The women at Macys are really helpful and would go and find things that fit my criteria and bring them back before I even finished trying on the last pair. I think this pre-sale ends shortly though, so I'd check it out soon.
