Best Brand of Umbrellas?
My husband takes the train to work and has a 10 minute walk, and I'd like to buy him an umbrella that won't turn inside out it the wind. He already has a compact one for surprise downpours, so now I'm looking for a big, sturdy umbrellas for the days that we know its going to be raining hard so the umbrella doesn't have to fit in his briefcase. What are some good quality brands for sturdy umbrellas?

my old roomate had one her parents gave her for her trip to london- it was made to not turn in the wind
I feel like wind was in the name- I can't think of it now! rats!

I have an old Totes umbrella that's held up for years... Love it!
It's an automatic one with the wooden J handle. When I worked in retail someone left it in the store....I've had it for over 10 years. I LOVE it!
ETA: It's very similar to this one....

What do they call the kind of umbrellas that kind of form around your head, meaning they have a much more rounded arc then a standard umbrella? You often see them in clear? I don't know how else to describe them, but I really want one.

I had one and it was awesome...I'm so mad that I lost it. It's not a small compact one, but it made with two layers, so that the wind can pass through, and not turn inside out.
By far, the best umbrella I've had.
