Another vote for Ghirardelli! I bought their double chocolate brownie mix and added some chopped pecans and dried cranberries to the batter. It was a great dessert to bring for Thanksgiving dinner.

Re: Best Brownie Mix??

Not a mix but this recipe is very easy.

Fudgie Brownies

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine (not spread)
4 oz unsweetened baking chocolate, chopped
1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line an 8-in. square baking pan with foil, letting ends extend above pan on 2 sides. Coat foil with nonstick spray.
2. Melt butter and chocolate in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring often. Remove from heat; whisk in sugar, then remaining ingredients until smooth.
3. Spread batter in pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out with moist crumbs attached. Cool in pan on a wire rack.
4. Lift foil by ends onto cutting board. Cut into 16 squares.
