Best/cheapest place to buy flowers?
I would love to find a place that had GOOD flowers at a good price. I was thinking of ordering from a magazine, but am tooo sceptical. Any recommendations? Iam in south western suffolk, but willing to travel a little bit. TIA!

There's a place in West Hempstead that always has great flowers and great prices. It's called "Westminster Nursery"
(on Westminster Rd)
Also, "Garden World" in Franklin Square on Franklin Avenue is excellent as well!
Not sure if these are too far for you though!

There is a place on Pinelawn Road...between 110 and LIE. I **believe it is Schmitts. By far, their plants do the best.

I get all my flats of flowers at Sal's Fruit Tree in Copiague. It's located at 1500 Sunrise Highway. They have great prices.

definitely schmidts for western suffolk. last year 5 flats were $52 (i think)

There is one on Bagatelle Rd also. This one is Albert H. Schmitt Family Farms. Great prices and lots to choice from. They have large hanging pots of Wave Petunias that I just bought over last weekend. They were 3 for $48 or $16.99 each. Beautiful!
