best Disney park for 20 month old
We're going to our timeshare in June and we're even having another couple and their son, who will almost be 2, join us for a few days. When we went last September we took Ds took Sea World and he really enjoyed it. We're looking to do a Disney park this time. I feel like the lines at Magic Kingdom may be too much for Ds to handle, so we're thinking about Animal Kingdom or Epcot. What do you think? What would you suggest? Keep in mind that DS is not the most patient child in the world.

they have those speed passes now, so magic kingdom you dont have to wait on line. you take the pass and look around and then when you pass time is up you go back and go straight in.

Re: best Disney park for 20 month old
I would think the lines are going to be bad at all of them - I would try the Magic kingdom - if not there animal kingdom or epcot are a toss up - the AK has animals to view and some shows - Epcot has living with the sea and a few other rides like mexico that you could go on but then mostly it would be walking around the countries.
Fast pass is okay - but not the best system like universal has -you can take your ticket and put it in a machine at rides with fastpass - and it gives you a ticket - with a return time - but when the parks are crowded that return time can be hours away - and you can only get I think 1 fast pass at a time - so you can't go around and get one for all the rides.
There are some lines at MK that one person can get on line and you can walk your child around and pass him back on line - but you can only do that with small kids (20 months should be fine for that).
I would pick the magic kingdom though and get there when it opens

Re: best Disney park for 20 month old
Ive taken Gilly about 7xs so far and my family works for disney in mngnt. The deal is you are gonna have Tons of lines at all places. I recommend magic kingdom just bc its Mickey oriented. Epcot has been dead for the last few yrs but we love it bc of that. Animal kindom is MUCH too hot in the summer time. Very opened areas. MGM, eh...we dont love it. Just for future info...Disney is opening a few more parks within the next couple years, For sure they are opening a Harry potter theme park and some other stuff not sure yet. Seaworld just opened aquatica which you should definiely see. The slides go through the water life...how cool is that. I kinda like Magic kindom or Universal Studios I for our kids age group. If you do go to epcot...my cousin produced the whole music and firework show...its the best Ive ever seen.

Magic Kingdom would probably be best. DH and I go to Disney about once a year (we LOVE it!) and Epcot doesn't have a whole lot that 20 month olds would enjoy. Pooh's Playful Spot is a really cute Winnie The Pooh themed playground they have for the little ones with no lines.
I love the website www.allearsnet.com when I plan Disney trips, so you may want to check it out!

I say MK and MGM. MGM has a lot of characters and some cute shows. MK lines are ridiculously long, so I would utilize fast passes for as many things as you can.

MK or AK, not epcot
JMO, a 20 month old can do the most at MK

MK or AK. Depends on the weather. If it's not too hot, AK would be fun -- walk around leisurely and see all the animals.
MK is great for kids, but could be overwhelming if you don't pace your day. Accept that you won't see the whole park and you'll be fine!
