They say Tuesday night, but I read an article that said that's for business travel and for leisure travel it's the weekends. With the many flights I've booked I can't say I've found either theory to be consistent.

best flight purchase day
For my latest flight purchase (leisure, international), I got the best deal on a Sunday midday... Everything I've read said weekends can be the most expensive,,, def wasn't in my case so I don't think there is any set day
