we ordered from JCPenny and love our set. We had some initial problems with the crib but all has been resolved and for the price, you cannot compare!

We just ordered our crib and dresser this weekend. We went back and forth between Behr's and BBB. It came down to being able to use the 20% off coupons at BBB (not all brands of furniture will accept the full 20% but we ordered a Simmons set and they do). I was also getting a weird vibe at Behrs (I may have been imagining it) but I felt like I was dealing with car dealers who weren't 100% honest with us. Overrall I'm happy with the decision we made and felt the salepeople at BBB were very knowledgeable about the furniture, types of wood, delivery times, any issues they've had with certain sets etc.

We are also ordering our furniture from JCP. Its the best deal around.

We had this same experience.
I also found the quality of their furniture to be no better than some of the stuff at BBB and BRU.
That said, we got our crib from Walmart online. You'd be amazed at how many of the "high end" cribs sell the same exact crib under different brand names to different vendors (aka ours, Baby Mod, is sold in boutiques as Million Dollar baby and some other stores as DaVinci....)

We went to Behr's and looked, and then went to Paradise Furniture on Bell Blvd. We ordered our dining room set (canadel), custom made, couches, curio and bar server from them! You can't beat the prices, they are way cheaper then the big furniture places! We went with Stanley Young America, and they beat Behr's by lots of $$$
