Best Groomers List
I have seen a few posts about groomers, including the most recent with a groomer rave, so I thought maybe consolidating them would be good so everyone from different areas of Long Island can look for a good recommended groomer.
For me;
I LOVE Adogably Pawfect in Lynbrook on Merrick Road.
They are FABULOUS and after trying about 5 different ones I found them and I'm sticking! They remember my dog and love him, they are cageless and just lovely people.

Fresh Pets Mobile Groomer located in
Wading River but will come to you!
$50 shampoo/condition, groom, cut nails, clean ears. Takes his time (abt hr) He is so loving. There is a website too.

Happy Pet tails in Bayside on Bell Blvd
it's spa like- my Pokey loves it there
we haven't found a place out on LI that is the same- but we are going to be trying a new one this week

we haven't found a place out on LI that is the same- but we are going to be trying a new one this week
This is the place that had a part in hurting my dog and then thought they could solve the problem by throwing a $20 at us and telling us to get lost 
You could see my post. I wont be using them anymore.

I never had any issues with them....sorry that happened to your dog- I used them for 2 years- but that was also 2 years ago

My MIL drives from East Meadow to bring her 2 eskimos to Adogably Pawfect because they are THAT good. So if you're not too far, check them out. They have a website too.

Grooming by Debbie Valley Stream. Love her! She is wonderful with my dog.. And she never puts her bow in too tight!

My friend Maria comes to your house and grooms IN your house. My mini poodle is a nervous, sick mess when he is groomed but he loves Maria and he loves being in the house. She is a great option for a really nervous pet.

I take Belle our pug to The Village Pet Spa
She only goes for baths and nail clippings because she self grooms (sheds like crazy!!!)
