Best internet extender
We have had issues but, today has been really bad. Internet isn't reaching to our guest room, where DS 1 typically spends his school day. We have never had that severe of an issue.
Wondering what internet extender works best with Optimum? We do have an extender but, my DH did something with our internet and it isn't working currently.

Re: Best internet extender
We have one from the brand Bros Trend We have Fios so not sure that matters. We got it at Best Buy I think. It works great- I worked out in the yard all summer and our router is far away from the yard and this bounced the signal out there perfectly

Interesting, a lot of people are having internet issues today- several people at work have reported it (everyone working from home). Wonder if it's an actual issue and not your personal internet. But, we have the EOS system. Got it from amazon and we love it!

Re: Best internet extender
I have three high-end routers in my house. Each one of them almost reaches the entire house, but with the three at all ends of the house, the entire property has very strong signals. Not the easiest thing to configure, since the routers have to be configured to talk to each other, but it's something I'm comfortable doing. Not recommended for someone who doesn't understand how to network routers together.

Hmm.. Could be? DS 1 usually works in the guest room and this am he had no internet signal there (he hasn't worked in there since last Fri since he's in person M-T and we were closed yesterday).

We have Fios and I got Orbi (which is through Netgear). I know nothing about these things but my friend has Orbi and raved about it. Mine has been pretty good. There are lots of different ones. I called Netgear and told them our needs, house size, etc and they recommended the one we ordered.

I ordered the Orbi. It took awhile to get it to work and now DH is convinced it’s messing up our Altice signal so I think it’s going back.
