Best Make up brushes
..mainly for applying bronzer / powder etc...I seem to be constantly spending $20 at the drugstore for one and the bristles start to fall off....
How much should I expect to spend for a good one?
Thanks

Re: Best Make up brushes
I don't remember how much but I thought I bought good one when I bought a MAC brush however, I wouldn't recommend. The bristles fall out all the time

Re: Best Make up brushes
I always really liked the Trish McEvoy brushes.
eta: I have a few of them and they don't fall out - I've had them for a few years now - I take care of them wash them - bought a few from the store and some off ebay thoroughly sterilizing w/ brush cleaner- maybe you can get a lot off ebay or seek a bronzer brush from them. I'd recommend them.

Re: Best Make up brushes
I have MAC and Japonesque (from Ulta) and I like both. Also, I have a L'oreal foundation brush that I like. I think the biggest brush to focus on quality is the blush/powder brush because the hair is more delicate.

Re: Best Make up brushes
Ulta sells a brand called "Studio Gear". they're supposed to be VERY high quality brushes.

Re: Best Make up brushes
Trish McEvoy brushes are great. I've also hear that buying inexpensive art brushes work really well too if you're looking to not spend a load of cash.

Re: Best Make up brushes
Sonia Kashuk brushes are really good and very reasonable - they're sold at Target.
