Best makeup brush brand
What brands do you love and why? I need some new ones, especially a foundation blending brush.

People love Sigma and for $1-3 try out Elf to see if you like them.

Re: Best makeup brush brand
MAC is the standard most people compare brushes too. I don't have any, but I think they are going to be my birthday present to myself.
What I use now are mostly Crown (online) & I have used Sonia Kashuk (Target) in the past.
Real Techniques (Ulta, Harmon, online) are good too--I have the blush brush. These are designed by Samantha Chapmann of PixiWoo (You tube make up artist) and made by the same company as Eco Tools.
Eco Tools has some good brushes too. I find that with the less expensive lines, there are often some brushes that are good, but not always the whole line across the board. I also find that they don't always have as much variety in types of brushes.
Sephora brushes are ok, but I think they are overpriced for what they are.
ETA- for foundation, what shape of brush do you like? I have a stippling brush from Crown (I think) that is good for thicker foundations.) I want to get the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. I think that is better if you buff more than stipple.
Also, the Beauty Blender sponge is good for foundation.
