Best non-greasy moisturizers for oily skin...
Can you recommend the best light-weight non-greasy moisturizers for oily skin? I hate that thick goopy feeling I get from using moisturizer, and they make me breakout sometimes... Is there such a thing as a gel moisturizer? I use cetaphil moisturizer right now and I find it too greasy.
Preferably something I can get at the drugstore...
Thanks!

Re: Best non-greasy moisturizers for oily skin...
I have very oily skin that is prone to break outs. I've tried a ton of stuff (cheap and expensive) and this is by far the one I like the best. Very light and not greasy at all.
Neutrogena Healthy Skin
ETA I'm almost 40 so I like the anti-wrinkle line, but if you don't need that yet Neutrogena also has a "oil-free" moisturizer line that i used a few years ago and liked.
Oil free moisturizer
I used to also use Clinique Oil Free GEL moisturizer but it didn't have SPF in it so I stopped buying it.

Olay Complete makes one for normal to oily skin- it's oil free and has some oil absorbers in it.
ETA- it's this one...

I use this as well. Funny you mention as I just bought a new bottle yesterday.
To the OP, I know it sounds crazy but I also REALLY like jojoba oil. Yes, it's oily when applying but it quickly absorbs into the skin. Benefits of Jojoba Oil as a Moisturizer
Another product that I really like is Murad Oil Control Mattifier.
I switch between the Olay and the Murad in the summer. Both have an SPF of 15.

I have used Olay for years but I just discovered the trader joe's version and it is even better! No parabens, no testing on animals, feels better and cheap, I LOVE it!!

ets: I agree about the jojoba oil, I sometimes add a few drops to my moisturizer. TJ's has it right next to that moisturizer I mentioned for a really good price. They also have tea tree oil pads that have been amazing for my skin. I have become obsessed with their beauty products because they have great ingredients and are VERY affordable.

Jojoba oil? Really!? Sounds counterproductive to add oil to oily skin but you've definitely piqued my interest lol. It doesn't leave oily skin feeling even oilier or cause breakouts?

I didn't know trader joe's made moisturizer! I love their shampoos.. so inexpensive for such high-quality/natural ingredients... I will have to take a look next time I go food shopping! Thanks for the recommendation!

I have never had a breakout using the jojoba and it does not make my skin more oily. I only use a small amount and apply to damp skin. A little goes a long way.
Living Strong Artcile
Jojoba oil (pronounced "ho-HO-bah") offers an ideal skin solution for you if you suffer from acne-riddled, prematurely aging or otherwise problematic skin and mistakenly believe you cannot safely use oil to moisturize your face. This "oil"--which is not an oil at all, but a liquid wax--mimics human sebum, or skin oil, more closely than any other compound in nature. When you apply it, it is widely believed to curb excess oil production by fooling the skin into believing it has produced enough sebum, thus bringing balanced moisture to all skin types.
Benefits
Since jojoba oil so closely replicates the oil already found in human skin, there are many benefits associated with using it as a daily facial moisturizer: it spreads and absorbs well and does not evaporate like water-based moisturizers tend to, thus providing all-day moisturization; it is non-comedogenic. It is non-greasy and odorless, making it ideal for use by itself or with essential oils. Its antibacterial properties help clear polluted pores and reinstate skin's natural pH balance. Jojoba oil fights fine lines and stretch marks by reducing epidermal water loss. It lightens scars and other skin imperfections. A natural antioxidant, it is also hypoallergenic. Not only is jojoba oil good for your face, but it is useful for treating skin conditions from head to toe.

Re: Best non-greasy moisturizers for oily skin...
Hi!
Hopefully I can help. Arbonne has a great line called FC5 and this moisturizer is specifically made for people with oily skin. A little goes a long way with this.
FC5 Oil-Absorbing Day Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Sunscreen
For oily/combination skin. Lightweight moisturizer helps to absorb oil and filters UV rays to help prevent sunburn, leaving skin with a fresh, matte appearance.
PM me for more information.

If you can get to an Ulta, try the Mario Madescu control moisturizer for oily skin. You need such a small amount and I love that stuff.

I like Garnier's Moisture Rescue Refresh Gel (I bought it to compare to La Mer's Gel Creme.)
No spf though.
