Best place for sour pickles
I picked up some delicious sour pickles at Fairway the other day and I need more! I just don't want to do that drive again! Can anyone recommend a place to get good sour pickles in south shore nassau county? Yes, it's a pregnancy craving

This is going to sound bizarre, but you must go to Western Beef in Hempstead... inside the store, there is a stand called "The Pickle People". They have the best pickles (all different styles) that I have ever had.

Yes, the pickle people are amazing pickles. I believe they have a stand in the Rockville Centre Sunday farmers market during the summer. It's probably starting soon.

There is a pickle booth in Tri-County Flea Market.. so good!!! Wait, is that place still open? I moved to Suffolk a couple years ago, lol!

we always go here - Western Beef in West Hempstead for pickles. they used to be in shoppers village.

Fairway
Tri-County
Farmer's Markets held on Saturdays. I've been to Port Washington and Huntington. The Huntington one now moved to Rockville Center. Pickles are amazing. The spicy dills are ridic. I eat them in one day.

I was just going to post the same thing. Best pickles EVER!! They are the original Pickle People that used to be in Shoppers Village back in the 80's.

Have u tried the batampte garlic pickles from the regular supermarket? U can find them in a jar by the hot dogs usually in the fridge section. They were my craving a few months ago!

It is still open, we stop when we are in the area.
Definitely still open! I moved to Suffolk about 5 years ago and sometimes we make a special trip to that area so I can stock up on one of those mini-buckets
