Best place/site for photo books
I want to order a couple for gifts and am not sure who does the nicest job. I'm looking for creative options not just pictures slapped on a page. TIA

Re: Best place/site for photo books
i used shutterfly and was happy with the way my book came out. they give you different options of the layout of pictures and how many on the page, plus different background colors and wording, etc.

Re: Best place/site for photo books
Kodak is having a photobook sale right now, their quality is superb.
Use code EXTRAPAGES to get 3x more pages!!! So for the price of 20, you get 80!!!! Now through 1/21
Of course I received this the week AFTER I made one on snapfish.

Clark Color has a great site for books.
Check it out. I think they own snapfish. They have great choices and so reasonable.

Re: Best place/site for photo books
I have been meaning to try:
http://www.viovio.com/
I've read their quality is similar to shutterfly but at a lower price. Please note that I have never used their service though.

Re: Best place/site for photo books
I have ordered things from Shutterfly and Seehere.com. I found the quality of seehere to be much better - the shutterfly images were grainy and the color was off. I know it wasn't my images because they printed fine from seehere
I don't know about layout options for either site because I design the pages myself and upload each page as an image.
ETA: If you have a MAC, my brother has made a bunch of books from Apple's site and they have come out great!

Re: Best place/site for photo books
I actually was the photographer for my sister in law's wedding and some other family events and I've used Shutterfly. the storyboard and layout tools are so easy and everythign comes out great, and prices aren't bad, especially when you catch a sale or coupon.

I've used Shutterfly and the option through IPhoto on a Mac. I loved them both, but IPhoto allows more freedom.

Re: Best place/site for photo books
I just used Mycanvas.com via Tiny Prints, the options are absolutely amazing!
I didn't get them yet, but I'm so excited.
In the past i've used shutterfly, winkflash, kodak gallery and mypublisher but so far mycanvas had the most options. If you want to fm me yuour email, i can email you a liink of the albums I did.

Re: Best place/site for photo books
I've used MyPublisher a few times. The hardcover books are nice. I just did a softcover one I'm not crazy about.
The nice thing about them is that if you are a new customer you can get a duplicate of a book for free. So I was able to use them both as gifts and paid for only 1.
