Best Place to Buy Shoes

Is it Stride Rite?

I think it's time to get Mason shoes. He's almost 14 months and not walking yet. My Ped said no shoes unless he's outside, but when he's cruising all over the house with no socks he feet go out. He seems to have a balance issue.
Although I'm not one to talk b/c I fall on my a$$ all the time Chat Icon (wonder if he gets it from mommy)

Anyway... he has FAT feet. Seriously! Any cute shoes either me or someone got for him seems to never fit.

Need to take him somewhere to get measured. Maybe putting something on those bricks will help Chat Icon Chat Icon

Yes, Stride Rite. I've also found that the Stride Rite outlet in Lake Success has a good selection of wide sizes.

Liam isn't walking yet either but he will take steps holding on to our hands. I was concerned with him walking outside on the deck and stuff too so we got hime measured at Stride Rite. I thought their prices were good. Also, we got him the pre-walkers which they said are best when they are still learning to walk and walking on tip toes. I recommend Stride Rite.

I'm a big fan of Stride Rite. I go to the outlet (deer park or riverhead). Usually they have something for around $15 each. DS has a wide foot too.

I like stride rite cause they measure them there, but I LOVE Nordstrom Rack for shoes, but you need to know their size.

Stride Rite, or there is a place in cedarhurst on central that has primigi, and umi that actually I think fit Chels better she has a high arch...or chubby feet whichever you'd like to call it..Chat Icon I forget what it's called but I love Umis and primigis....they're pricey but worth it IMO

Yes, stride rite. It is so funny. Everyone says no shoes until they walk, but my DS wouldn't walk until I got him good shoes. Flashback to Forrest Gump - they were like his "magic shoes"Chat Icon Good luck!

Re: Best Place to Buy Shoes

I started DS with Pedipeds. I loved them. It was easy for him to cruise with them.

Then I bought at stride rite.

I started at regular stores waiting for sales but now I just go to stride rite outlet in deer park. I always find a pair that fits him.

He is still a wide at 3 yo.

Both my girls are wides - I mostly only buy stride rite and only on sale. I buy at Nordstroms rack (it is hit and miss - I have had great luck sometimes and no luck others - but you have to know their size), the stride rite outlet in deer park and the lake success one - but that too is hit and miss - but they do carry wides but you have to search around and it can be a pain.
