Re: Best place to get a picture, Framed?
if you use the 50% off coupons from michaels or ac moore it's not bad... DH and i got a wedding pic framed for his parents, i think it was 8x10, it cost just over $100 with the matting and the coupon.

michaels has good prices, bring it there and pick your frame and matte and just get a price quote. they always have 50% off coupon on custom work.
If its an 8x10 you should just do it yourself, they sell mattes and frames, its very easy to do and looks just as good

Re: Best place to get a picture, Framed?
I went to Michael's and got 50% off, sometimes they have 60% off. The cost depends on what frame you pick, if you get the picture matted & which glass you choose. We got our ketubah framed and it was I believe - around $200 - but it was a fancier frame, matted and we chose a nicer glass.

Rogers Framing in Northport. I have been using them for a long time. They changed owners a few years ago but the old owner trained the new one. You get personal service and a lot of knowledge. They know all the materials that frames are made of and they understand how colors can pick up aspects of your photos and how a frame can influence a whole room. Their website has a coupon for 10% off or so. It is custom framing but for what you get, their prices are reasonable.

Re: Best place to get a picture, Framed?
Definitely use the Michael's coupons - our ketubah framing was expensive - WITH the 50% coupon it was around $250 but that is going to be so dependent on size, frame, matting, etc - our ketubah is pretty big.

Re: Best place to get a picture, Framed?
It can be pricey, but it depends on the top of picture... sometimes it's worth it to splurge.
there is a great place in Baldwin called Stu-Art on Grand Ave./Milburn Ave. that does a great job.

Re: Best place to get a picture, Framed?
I got my Ketubah framed for $330 at a frame store on Old Country Road (in the same shopping center as 6th avenue electronics and Red lobster by Roosevelt field mall). I paid extra to get museum glass (has no glare) and a sudeish inner mat/lining. I m probably biased but they did a great job, it looks beautiful. They are very affordable, have a large selection and are very helpful. Cant remember the name though.
