Best place to get large quantity (200-300) balloons, string and rent helium tank?

Thinking Party City might be expensive but have never done this before. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Bjs sells a helium tank and balloon set...I believe its around $25 but I'm not sure how many balloons you get and you would have to blow them up yourself

BJs has the tank, 50 balloons (mixed colors) and white string for 25.00. We just got it there and that was by far the best price around. It can blow up 50 balloons.

Also try cedarhurst paper in east northport.
I think its $10 a dozen. I don't know how long it would take to blow up that many balloons...

200-300 balloons will take a long time unless you have a lot of people helping you. Plus you're going to need a lot of those little tanks (it will also vary with the size of the balloons you use.)

I usually buy better quality, large round latex balloons, big spools of ribbon and High Float from Party City or online. I've used the small tanks mentioned, but I've never had to inflate more than 50 balloons.

Have you requested a quote from a service that would do the inflation on site???

Hmm . . . Maybe I will scale back on the number of balloons. I want to keep this very inexpensive so I don't think I want to go the route of a service.

There is a ballon place in Farmingdale (on Meritts I think). Don't remember the name but you could google.

I ordered bulk balloons from us balloon co.
and rented a full-sized helium tank from a party rental place.

I used Bella Balloons for my son's Christening. It wasn't cheap, but they handled ALL THE BALLOONS, and everything looked BEAUTIFUL! They did towers and centerpieces and everything was done perfectly!

I did NOT use a service for my son's first birthday, and BOY do I regret it! It was SOOOO time consuming and I enlisted the help of family, who didn't blow them up enough, so they looked really pathetic. lol.

Balloons unlimited in Lynbrook is excellent... They did the balloons for my son's 1st bday and delivered/set-up everything.
