Best place to go pumpkin picking with the kids?
We went to Hanks in Watermill today and it was GREAT! We got there at 10am before the crowds started rolling in. We have been to so many places in the past, but this is our new fav. Very clean, lots to do, interactive corn maze, 2 tractor train type things that take you around the field, lots of play equipment, duck races, wooden pig races, digging boxes, pony rides, etc. It's $10 per person and well worth it. There were no flies hanging around the food (especially around the apple cider donuts!), which we have always encountered at Windy Acres and Harbes.
They had plenty of pumpkins on the vine and off, and many white ones as well. We don't pick our pumpkins at the farms though, .69 a pound is like quadruple the price of the grocery store, so we just get them there. We did buy a couple of the small sugar ones though for $3.00 each though.

Went to Hank's also today. Got there at 9:30 when it opened and the kids had a blast! This is our third year going and we've never been disappointed!

We went to schmidts in melville on Saturday. It was about 80 cent a lb, plus the haunted mansion, blow ups, etc.
