best place to purchase area rugs and runners?
We need a few area rugs for our new home. We'd like decent quality, but nothing super expensive right now.
Any suggestions on where to look for some decent rugs at decent prices? Prefer Nassau County.

I would check out Fortunoff only if they are running a sale - they can be a bit pricey before the sale. I have a runner from Target.
I could not find any area rugs I liked for my living room so I went to a regular rug place and I picked a multi-colored burber carpet that I liked and they made me an area rug from it (cut and bound to my specific size). It's a very reasonable option if you want something simple.

Thanks! Do they have a big selection of larger area rugs?
I need something for our master bedroom that will cover a good portion of the floor and also one for our LR...

I am drawing a blank on the name of the carpet place, but it's on Jericho Tpke. in Floral Park. They were very helpful. I didn't want a print rug and had a hard time finding one I like. I also remembered that Lowes and Home Depot had a big selection.
We also have carpet in our bedroom because we don't like bare feet on cold floors!

I'm just looking for solid colors, too, so I think that may be our best bet.
Thank you! We're in Home Depot and Lowes a lot these days ( ) so I'll be sure to take a look at the rug selection and prices there to compare!

We got a runner from TouchofClass.com. Reasonable price and seems to be decent quality.
