I really enjoy "Magical Beginnings Enchanted Lives, A holistic guide to pregnancy and childbirth" by Deepak Chopra. It's very spiritual and talks a lot about how you can connect with your baby on the day to day and how everything we do affects it. It is like yoga, if yoga were a book, that's how I feel when I read it, haha.

Best pregnancy or baby books?
I personally don't think you should read any books. They all talk about what your baby should be doing or you should be doing for your baby etc. But each baby is different and we all have a different way of parenting that books just make you crazy cause they will make you think you are doing something wrong.
It honestly is just instinct. I never held a baby before my own. Never changed or fed a baby until my own. It was honestly the most natural thing ever....and this is comign from someone who never wanted kids til I was in my 30s and changed my mind.

I have to agree. All those damn books did was scare me! LOL. The only book I'm reading (on and off) right now is "Everything you need to know about Twin pregnancy" only because I want to make sure I know what to ask my doctor or what to expect. I had to skip the first few (scary) chapters though. LOL

Best pregnancy or baby books?
I hated What to Expect. I have Your Pregnancy Week by Week and the Baby's First Year Week by Week and both were okay but nothing great. The one book I read that was really helpful was Breastfeeding Made Simple which I definitely recommend if you plan to bf.

Baby Bargains!
This book helped me so much (along with lifamilies) in putting together my registry for DC#1. Found it to be a great tool!
