Best prices for carpeting?
My new house has ancient, gross carpeting. Dh and I want to replace it as soon as we close. I know that pricing is going to vary depending on what we get, but what kind of ballpark am I looking at per square foot? We need 3-4 rooms and a staircase. Can anyone recommend a reliable carpet store with good prices in central Nassau?

I priced out the smaller mom and pop carpet places but found them very expensive. Lowes installed our carpet, did a great job and very competitive pricing. Good luck!

I have always had amazing results and experiences with Empire -- for carpet, flooring, and windows.
You can call and they'll give you an estimate.
It varies depending on their deals at that time.
Quick and professional installs.

Best prices for carpeting?
I used empire for a small room and then had them price a bigger room later on. They were more than 2x than what I ended up paying at Jim Flack in Farmingdale. The carpet is a better quality also.

Update:
HD was a bust - they ship everything from somewhere in GA and it can take three weeks  So I went to Village Carpet in West Hempstead instead. LOVE them. Friendly service, HUGE selection, and the prices were better than expected.

Best prices for carpeting?
We went with Carpet depot, we have been very happy with the carpets, they installed about a week later, and their prices were very competitive.
