The place we went was way out east - maybe Mattituck? They provide the wagons.
I'll ask my friend for the name tomorrow.

Harbes is in Jamesport on 25 and in Mattituck on Sound Avenue. I love it there!!
Stakeys in Aquebogue is also good.

Lewin's in Wading River- pick pumpkins off the vine. Also has apple orchards with mini trees- no pickers needed. Also has a craft house, veggie/ fruit market, and fall flowers.
Hick's- Westbury on Jericho Turnpike. Pick pumpkins out of bins or off tables. Very small petting farm, hay ride. Huge craft, flower market. Otto the friendly ghost. Cute place for kids.
White Post Farms- similar to Hick's except there's a LOT for kids to do...large petting zoo, pony rides, great playground equipment, feed the animals, crafts, flowers, hay ride.
Have fun!

Re: Best Pumpkin Picking places - suggestions please
Thanks everyone, NOW I have to decide on which one to go to, I hate making decisions. I think I will do a big one on the weekend with my Hubby, and then maybe go to another one on a monday or tuesday when I am off and ask Grandpa to come with us.
