best (safe) mosquito repellent?
I always get attacked by mosquitos unless I am bathed in OFF. But now I have a 1 month old and so I need a safer option. In the past, I've tried a few of the organic sprays, but I still get bit. Please help???

Truthfully at 1 month I wouldn't put any spray on a baby without talking your ped. I would just keep them In the infant carrier with a net over them or keep them indoors.

We used the babyganics as well as the net over the PnP and stroller when we went upstate and it was really buggy. He got 2 bites the entire week. Not sure which was keeping it off him, but I think the net helped a lot.

I assumed you were asking about yourself not for your 1m old but since obviously your 1m old is so closely attached to you, what’s safe for her but also works well for you?
Honestly it’s a chemical thing. Each person is chemically different and releases carbon monoxide differently. I just tried to stay indoors or screened areas, used repellents in the areas I was at. I had the off fan, off candles, off torches and my hubby found this natural powder you burn (which worked best by FAR) and wasn’t so bad in smell.
Take special precaution about what the baby touches if you treat yourself. But treating your legs is usually not bad. Its the arms that caused me grief. Avon’s bug stuff worked ok. I just cycled through until I found something that worked and used avoidance as the first option. I won’t lie. I still got bit up A LOT!

Thanks! I was planning on keeping her inside but I meant more for me LOL. I didn't want to use anything bad and then hold her.

I always just used the bug net when my kids were that tiny. I found a Natural Bug Away Spray that works pretty well, I find that with my daughter I have to reapply a few times. They tend to love her though. It's a blend of essential oils, I love it.
