Best Shampoo and Conditioner?
I have tried every Salon brand out there - nothing really impresses me. I think they are all the same and then lately some of them have been horrible - leaving my hair feeling like crap!
What do you think is the best brand? I don't need it to be for color treated hair - any type will do. I want something that will make my hair feel great - smooth, silky, etc.
Any recs?

what type of hair do you have? my hair is thick/wavy, but I normally straighten it. More favorites are Redken Smooth down, or Redken All Soft. I also like Biosilk, and on the cheaper end Infusium mositurologie conditioner

Re: Best Shampoo and Conditioner?
I have been on the search for the best shampoo and conditioner and finally found my match!
I really love the Enjoy brand. I use their sulfate free shampoo and I LOVE it. It's not that expensive, you just need to find a salon (on their salon locator on the website) that sells it.. or buy it online. It smells SO good and it's just $18 for a bottle that lasts about 3-4 months.
For my conditioner, I love Bumble and Bumble. You really can't go wrong with any of their conditioners IMO, but my favorite is Super Rich. It smells SO good and it's very moisturizing. I have oily hair too but I'm able to use it without getting a buildup.
I usually switch off between those two and the Chi Organic Olive Oil line. You can find it at Ulta. Just know that the shampoo is a little watery- much more watery than any other shampoo I have ever used...... but I have gotten used to it. You just need a little bit and it works nicely. The shampoo and conditioner from that line smells really good too.. like lemons DH actually picked it out for me initially and I ended up really liking it!
Good luck! Finding the right cr@p for your hair can be really frustrating!!!

Well, I have pretty normal hair. I have a lot of it, it is a moderate thickness. It is naturally straight. Sometimes I use the flat iron to style it how I want. It has never been colored.

I love Kerastase. I use all their styling products plus shampoo and conditioner. They are pricy but worth it. I have dry color damaged hair- this def helps to make it look healthy, give it shine, and i use their protein strengthening line..(green bottle).

Everytime my hair has felt like crap, I always go back to RedKen Clear Moisture and it always feel great again. Then I wonder why I stopped using it.

Re: Best Shampoo and Conditioner?
You know- It may not be your shampoo. It could very well just be this cold weather we are having. It strips away the moisture & leaves it very dry brittle & completely un manageable

Re: Best Shampoo and Conditioner?
I find myself alternating between Kerastase and Mastey products.
If it wasn't for my JHS, I'd just be using the Mastey line.
