I also don't like the Palmer's cocoa butter smell. I used the Mustela belly cream this time around and I found that one to be really good.

Re: best stretch mark cream?
Use what makes you feel comfortable but don't waste too much money. Stretch marks are 100% genetic You can bathe in stretch mark cream and still get them or like me, never use a single thing and not get one.
All depends on if you are predisposed to getting them via genetics and the amount of elasticity in your skin .

best stretch mark cream?
I use the generic target brand. I spent a lot on a body butter stretch mark cream and it didn't do a thing. They found me in month 5

This! 100% genetic. that being said - I bought the palmer's cocoa butter bc it was cheap, just to make myself feel like I am defying genetics (mind over matter) but it is getting too chocolatey for me...

I agree. I am not prone to them and don't have any despite using or not using the cream.

This, and also, I read that if you use anything, it's better to take it orally (e.g. cocoa butter or vitamin e) since topical creams have zero impact on the marks, though they might ease the itching.

best stretch mark cream?
People says it genetic, but I think environment plays a role. My mom and sister got stretch marks and I didn't. I was religious with applying the palmers belly butter 2x a day.

Mustella. I am very much prone to stretch marks. Got an obscene amount around my hips during my teen years. I was pretty religious about putting it on 3 times a day. I got none for my 1st pregnancy and only ended up with 3 small ones for my second.

With DD #1 I used cocoa butter faithfully and got stretch marks.
With DD #2 I used my regular St. Ives collagen cream that I use all over my body and got no extra stretch marks...go figure.
