It was for DH and his friend.
They went to Robata because it was closer to where they needed to be afterwards
They LOOOVED.

we live upstate, but our parents are both from Plainview. Whenever we are on LI, we go to this awesome sushi place called Kotobuki. There are two locations... I can only remember the one in Babylon. Not plainview, but the sushi is awesome!

Kumo in fairway shopping center
Robata on Old COuntry ROad-- next shopping center after La Piazza..
Robata is not fancy but the most amazing rolls ever...
Kumo is trendy, expensive, small and always crowded but very good..

I second Kumo..very tasty!! The one with La Piazza is called Hama..just came from there, eating at the Mixed Grill

I love Robata- never had bad sushi there. Definitely not fancy, but inexpensive and delicious.
