I'm doing Ethan's from 1-4 because it fit perfectly between naps.

I'm probably doing 1230-430 because that's the only slot the hall has!! I think 1 is a good time to start.

I'm just thinking that it is the day after Christmas and people may want to putter around their house and check out their gifts before heading out!

That's why I voted for this time frame. Didn't have time to write it haha. But yes considering that the day before was Christmas and all I would make it at around this time frame. I know my house gets trashed for xmas and I spend all morning the next day cleaning up and just relax a bit. I wouldn't think too much of it, do what you is right for you. As far as nap times I never considered that. My DC skipped it with all the excitement and he was fine. He did sleep well afterwards though.

The day after Christmas, I would want late afternoon... gives everyone a chance to sleep in, chill around the house in their PJs and enjoy the after Christmas buzz. If you are inviting young children, they should be done with their naps.

2-5 would work best for us. At 5 DD starts getting really cranky and goes to bed shortly after.
And not to mention DS gets like that too around that time.
My kids always napped in the morning.

For the day after Christmas I would do 3-6, plus it's after most naps and around dinnertime anyway!

We are doing it from 1-4 becuase that works best with DS nap schedule. I would do what works best for your DC.

I agree with your thinking and would do the party from 3-6pm. My DD's first birthday was from 3-7pm and I really liked how the time worked out.
