Best time to go to Disney? Can you hang out at the pool in May?
I am DYING to go on vacation. I love to travel and haven't gone anywhere for almost a year. We were going to go to Disney while I was pregnant but we chose not to.
We were going to wait until December to go to Disney but now I'm thinking of going in May. We would take my mom with us.
How is Disney in May? Is it warm enough for the pool?

Yes, May is warm enough for the pool.
It's my parents favorite time of the year to go to Orlando. The kids are still in school, the hotels/pools aren't crowded, the weather is great, and it's still cold enough here to truly enjoy the early summer down there.

Yes, May is warm enough for the pool.
It's my parents favorite time of the year to go to Orlando. The kids are still in school, the hotels/pools aren't crowded, the weather is great, and it's still cold enough here to truly enjoy the early summer down there.

its a great month to go to disney!
as well as october and sept!
i always go in December, and i went with the boys but next time we are doing october so we can enjoy the pools.. the weather was freezing this last december

May would be a great time to go, definitely better than December. The weather in december is iffy (could be 80's, could be 40's!). May is definitely hot enough for the pool... it's hot enough now in March! Try to shoot for the beginning/middle of May since schools get out here the end of May.

I was there the same time as D and I totally agree it was FREEZING! but we did have a good time!
In 2009 we went in October and it was HOT but we had fun and spent mroe time in the pool than usual!
i went in May as a kid and it was beautiful!

i think the best weather to hang out in the pool in orlando is the first couple of weeks of may its hot enough to be out and enjoy a sunny day but not soo hot that you are dying lol

We've gone a couple of times in May and it's a great time to go. We did go one year over Memorial Day weekend and it was really hot. But the beginning is usually really nice.

We were there last May for DD#2's 1st birthday (5/15-5/24). It was SO hot. It was upper 80s to mostly low 90s every day. We were dying...LOL - but we had a fabulous trip. You will definitely get pool time in. We had almost no rain (I think 15-30 mins total all week).

Yes! I usually go to Orlando (when I do go) around late march/ early april & its hot enough to sit by the pool. In fact thats all I do
