Best time to go to Hershey Park
We went to Hershey Park last year right after Labor Day weekend because a lot of the school already started and since the boy's school didn't we thought it would be a quiet time to go. We were right and it really wasn't crowded at all!!
We want to go again in August, but don't want to go when it's so crowded.
Any ideas when to go? THanks!

We went last August and it was crowded and super hot. We went during the week, so I imagine the weekend was worse. The last week in June is always quiet, that is when we used to go. Perfect IMO! Or probably early July. But I wouldn't do August!

I agree with PP. We went in August with my DS and it was unbearable. So hot, the lines were crazy long, and we ended up spending a lot of the day at the water park portion (which was mobbed) only because it was so hot that we thought we were going to pass out if we didn't cool down in the water. So, I couldn't tell you the best time to go, but the worst has to be August.

Best time to go to Hershey Park
Avoid the 2nd weekend of august. There is a large craft fair in Lititz and hotels are booked up throughout that entire area. If you can make a trip during the week, I would always try avoiding the weekends whenever possible.

We went mid-week, the 2nd week of July last summer. The weather was perfect, and it wasn't overly crowded. We were surprised that it wasn't really crowded.

We went the very last week of July last year and it was hot but not ridiculous. We are planning to go again same time.
