Best time to test with OPK?

Best time to test with OPK?
This month I will be trying an OPK for the first time. I got the First Response one. I doesn't say what time to test is best but I've been reading online. Based on my job, I would have to test either first thing in the morning, at about 3:45pm or anything thereafter. What do all you knowledgable ladies think would be best? Thanks!

They say not to test during the FMU but between 10am and 8pm because it takes time for the hormone being tested for to "build up" during the day.

The hormone the OPKs detect (luteinizing hormone, or LH) is usually produced during the day, so FMU is NOT the best time to use the OPK.
3:45 in the afternoon is actually a perfect time, as the LH surge usually occurs in the afternoon.
 to you..... I had very good luck using the OPKs....

Since I was drinking much water (to keep the "concentration") and not going to the bathroom for 5 hours, I did it at 5pm (right before leaving work!). That way I could eat lunch and wait 5 hours.
