Best way to clean old toys?

I have a ton of play food that used to be mine Chat Icon that I am giivng to DD and DS for Chanukah/Christmas. It's not dirty... maybe a bit dusty? But it definitely should be cleaned. What is the best way?

Bleach and water solution... cup of bleach into a sink of hot hot water. Let 'em soak in there and then rinse them off with water.

Clorox Anywhere cleaner, its made to use and be safe around kids and pets bc its so mild, yet has the bacteria killing properties of clorox and leaves no residue.
