when you file a complaint with the better business bureau, is your name linked with the complaint.

yes it is

ETA: I complained about Sprint and they need all of your info to file the complaint with the company officially. your complaint is assigned a case worker. it's actually pretty formal. I was surprised.

I was surprised how seriously they take complaints. I thought it was going to be BS.

they email you from the BBB and you have to keep the issue open online or they will close it after about a week.

regarding my complaint - long story short, I was refuting that I signed a 2 yr contract with them and they had absolutely no proof of it. I ended up losing because they produced some generic form that says it's a verbal agreement once you join Chat Icon so I had to pay the $150 early termination fee. I can honestly say now that it was worth every penny just to NEVER have to deal with Sprint again! Chat Icon

have you gone there in person? If not, I recommend you do that before any formal complaint.

since we got a package deal from the hall, we put a call into them to see if they could help. if i need to, i'll pick them up but dh would have to stay in the car. he's getting really crazy. i don't blame him. i don't want him to blow up at them

Name is definitely attached. For me personally the BBB didn't do squat, but the department of consumer affairs, that was a whole other storyChat Icon Some how all of our missing or damage furniture arrived in 2 weeks when it had been almost 7 months of run around before that.
