Beware of Gas Pump Scam
My friend got gas a couple of days ago and the price was posted as $3.56 for regular. When the guy started pumping the gas, she noticed a little 1/2 under the price. She asked him how much she was paying and he said $3.56 for a HALF gallon!!!  She told him to take the nozzle out and by time she did he had put 3 gallons in and charged her over $20! I've heard of this happening a couple of times lately! I would never think to look.

It was a little station on Montauk Higway in Southampton.
She reported it to the PD and the Attorney Generals office.
They told her to get a receipt. The guy was reluctant but when she told him the Police were going to be coming, he wrote one for her and told her not to come back. Like she would ever think about going back there again

Wow that's awesome that she called the cops!! That's DH said he would've done, I wouldn't have thought of it!!
