BF babies bowel movement?
Gianna hasn't gone to the bathroom, today is day 3. I give her 4-8 ounces or formula a day, the rest is all BM.
Is this normal?
ETA: She has always made at least one dirty diaper a day until now

same thing happened to Grace when we started to supplement. The ped said it was normal when BF babies start to take in a little formula. Give her a 1/2 oz of prune juice with 1oz of water. Trust me, you will see the poo of your life in her next diaper.

Re: BF babies bowel movement?
I think it's completely normal. I think DS was around Gianna's age when his BMs started getting more spaced out. At first it was evey other day, then every 3 or 4 days. Now he's going like evey 5-6 days. One time it was 8 days! I spoke to my ped about it and she said BF babies can go for over a week without having a BM and it'ts totally fine. She said as long as he doesn't seem uncomfortable or anything not to worry. What are her BMs like when they come out? Brendan's are still very watery so I know it's not because he's constipated. I wouldn't worry.

Her Bm's are still watery/seedy, they are def not formed. This is the first time she has gone so long without going. She doesn't seem uncomfy, she gets her usual fussy sessions.
We did just change the formula (I went from Similiac to Enfamil) i give her once a day though, would that cause a difference or could it just be a coincidence?

Re: BF babies bowel movement?
I am still breast feeding and giving DD expressed breast milk- but she has gone from pooping daily to once every 2-3 days. I spoke to the doctor and she said that this is normal. That she can go up to a week without pooping- as long as she doesn't seem to be in distress. DD is 3 months.

DD is exclusively breast feed and usually goes every day and or a few times daily.
