BF question - please help
Tonight when DD BF on my right side I had a little bit of pain. Then after she finished eating she spit up a little bit of brown. I'll call the doctor about it tomorrow. Do I call my doctor or hers? Has this happened to anyone else? I'm worried.

Sorry never happened but if I were you I'd call both Drs, hers and yours. Hope they can help if not I could give you the contact info for a Lactation Consultant if you need it.

Thanks. I'm going to call shortly (only 8:30 here in Chicago). I read that it is most likely because she did not latch correctly and got some blood from the nipple. It turns brown when they spit it up.
