BFing class vs. watching the Laugh & Learn video
I forgot I signed up for a BFing class a while back..I didn’t pay yet, you can pay when you get there. It’s tonight from 7-9 and I just do not feel like going, by the time I get home from work I am so tired and it’s a long day…I also have the Laugh & Learn video at home which I was going to watch this week anyway…
Do I NEED to go to this class? Would the video suffice? I know in the hospital when I deliver I can speak to the Lactation nurses anyway…

I only watched the Laugh & Learn Breastfeeding video & honestly it was so informative. I don't think you need to attend a class. I asked my one friend that went to an actual class & she said they gave you so much BS that it really was a waste of time.

i watched the video--i was not spending money on something that is offered free after you give birth.

I watched the L&L BF dvd and it was good. I still felt like I wanted to do a real class aftewards, though, so I signed up for one next month to supplement the info from the dvd. I'm a "classroom learner" though - I like being able to ask someone my own questions & hear feedback based on their real-world experience...

my dr told me not to bother with the class and save my money for any problems nursing after the fact.
My LCs were great in the hospital. I was fine without class.
