Big Boobs and Bra Dilemas....
I am so tired or the strap slipping and no bras fitting.........Any advice? I just ordered 3 and none of them fit correctly! I am DESPERATE!

I wear Lilyette minimizers, they are very comfortable. I have to get them on sale, they are expensive. I actually just got one for free in the mail this week for buying two a while ago.

I've had a lot of luck with Georgette's in Hicksville (I've tried everywhere else on LI).
The girls at Georgette's got me hooked on the Goddess 3910 bra.  Comfortable straps, great support and smooth for underneath fitted shirts!

I just got my first one a couple of weeks ago and I love it. I didn't take the buy two get one free deal, but I totally should have. I may have to go back and do it.

I LOVE these bras!!! I know this sounds silly... but I feel sooo much better wearing them and when I first put them on, I feel like it changed my life!!! LOVE THEM!! I would highly recommend checking them out... I know how you feel... Good luck!!

Also- I have bought alot of my bras from JcPenny and have been very happy there...
My prob. isnt the cup as much as it is I want the support, and HATE the big chunky straps!

I'd go to a lingerie shop like Roxanne's (Queens), Mary's Corset's (Woodbury) or Gorgette's (Hicksville) and have them measure you and fit you with proper bras. I cannot buy bras in department stores, it's an excercise in futility.

Also, they help you figure out what shape you want ... some bra's give cleavage, some minimize, some separate them, some make them look round, some make them look pointier (think 1950's women) ... for big chested women, it really is a big factor in choosing a bra and a look for yourself.

you can get them both at any department stores-- Bloomies and Nordstrom have a large selection of wacoal.

I love Lilyette and Olga minimizers - I always forget to send in for the free bras!!

My problem and it sounds like BigB's too is that they make the bras too wide -- straps fall off me all the time. I need the 40 DD around my back and for the cup, but I do not have wide shoulders. I have been to Georgettes, I've bought Wacoal, and all the others but the sliding strap problem just never seems to go away.
I had one that had like a silicone strip on the straps so they would stay stuck on your skin but I can't remember the brand...

Even the bnest fitted bras on me always seem to have the straps fall as time goes on and they get washed. I have been wearing the recer-back bras or t-strap bras a lot and find them to be much better wtih out having to worry about always picking up the strap.

I keep meaning to go to Georgette's and look around, but stuff comes up and I never get there. When I'm driving past the store I remember, "Hey, I'm supposed to go there and get some bras!!!"

I go to Great Shapes in Willison Park and Bee's in Great Neck for my minimizers.
I like Chantelle bras and my mother swears by Edith Lances minimizers. They are very pricey (and not so attractive), but they flatten her like nothing I've seen before.

I recommend getting measured and fitted. I had huge problems over the years with all bras. Currently my favorite is a Lilyette 610 that was discontinued so I found an outlet in NJ that shipped me their last 3.
Even after my reduction I still had that problem..I think these bras are made for aliens...

I completey agree. If you are in Manhattan, try Town Shop, too.
Getting a proper bra fitting made a big difference for me & solved the strap slipping problem--even with my uneven shoulders.
I only boguth a corset & bathing suit there,but knowing my size helps me buy bras in department stores.
