Big girl rooms
Can anyone share pictures and ideas of the "big girl" rooms? I want to start getting ideas for DD's room as she graduates towards a big kids room.
Thanks!

Re: Big girl rooms
Molly's room is a Princess type room, but no characters. I used the Home Depot project card for her room. It is blue & pink (Disney colors). I find that Disney Home has lots of great ideas that you can talior to fit your needs. Also Pottery Barn is great to get ideas from.

Re: Big girl rooms
I have no pictures because I haven't really started it (will start this weekend) but I bought the "Cherry Blossom" bedding from PBK and got some antique white big girl furniture.

Land of Nod and Company Kids are good sites for inspiration.

Re: Big girl rooms
OK, I'd love to!! I just ordered the bedding last night and I'm so excited to get it. I have such a vision in my mind!!!
Here are the pics of what I'm putting in there. I'm going to get one of those round decorative discs for the ceiling to go around the chandelier, and I'm going to have crown molding put up. I also think I'm going to make cornices for the window treatments out of fabric that matches the bedding.
(Sorry, can't post a pic of the chandelier, but it is a crystal one).
I'll post pics when it is finally done.
