Big weekend for DS
Friday night I was putting DS to sleep and just as he closed his eyes I put him in his crib. He opened his eyes looked aroudn, shifted and....put himself to sleep. minimal rocking was used!! I was so excited, I ran out to tell DH and his friend who was over! He must have thought I was nuts (he has no kids!) - Saturday night he needed rocking but it gives me hope!
Then Saturday we started Chris on cereal in the AM. to say he loved it is an understatment. He opens his mouth when he sees the spoon although he still doesnt understand that he should swallow it when its all in his mouth! But he'll get there.
I should have known he would love food, at 4 months old he must weigh about 18lbs! (Dr appt in 2 weeks!)

PS its so funny how we rejoice over the "little" things these days! Babies change everything!
ETA: Added 2 cereal pics and one more because someone is 4 months old today!!!

Thanks for sharing! Those are two big milestones, so it was am important weekend for him and for you!
He'll probably come to like his cereal better. I heard very few babies like it immediately.

He actually loves the cereal. Doesn't quite get how to "eat" it but he smiles and laughs the whole time. I have to post some pics it was very cute! He would take a mouth full and then smile at me or DH and out came all the cereal!
He did better with the eating part today though.

I was actually thinking of you this weekend when he fell asleep on his own.
He hasnt done it since but as I said there is hope for me!!!
