Bike Seat?
DH wants to get a bike seat for our DC who is 1 year and 1/2 for the back of his bike so we can go bike riding together.
I don't know how I feel about this. As much as I think our DC would love it and how nice it would be for us to all go together - it makes me so nervous.
Does anyone have a bike seat for their DC? If so, are there any you recommend? What is the safest helmet?
or should I tell DH to forget the whole idea?

What if you got a trailer instead? That way, they are much lower to the ground, and less likely to tip over.

We are getting a seat. Mainly because we used one on vacation and DS LOOOVED it! They both scare me, but I have this fear os someone hitting hte trailer because it is lower and wider than the bike. Also, I don't think my DS would like it as much, he wants to be close.

We have the Bell Cocoon Mounted Bike Seat. I like that it kind of nestles DD. I don't remember the brand of helmet we have but we got both the seat & helmet at Sport Authority.

This is what we had put on my bike...SUPER comfy...secure...has lots of cushioning for DD.
Next picture is of her helmet.
She LOVEs being on the back of the bike

I know what you mean. I think both are safe. The one thing I do like about the trailer is that it won't tip over.
