Billing- RSOFNY

Ladies who have used RSOFNY- how long after services (IVF, IUI, etc) rendered did you receive a bill?

I'm wondering if there is a huge delay b/c i have a primary and a secondary insurance to process claims through? (It has been several months)

Can anyone share what the timeline was like for them?

(I keep checking into my secondary insurance company and they state they have not received one claim yet- i checked with RSOFNY and they said they are forwarding claims to them and it just takes some time. My primary insurance had been billed immediately).

I had my fresh IVF cycle in November 2012 and didn't receive a bill for my out of pocket until February 2013 after my FET cycle when I was just going to them for early pregnancy monitoring. The only bill I received I think in December was for the anethesiologist who was not covered by insurance so had to pay that right after my fresh cycle.

Thank you for your response- I'm thinking the delay is related to the fact that the claims still have to go through secondary ins before they determine what my out of pocket is.

I saw them briefly in 2011 and just a few months ago received a refund check for an overpayment. So yeah, I'd say their billing department is a little slow!
